I added a word to the dictionary, but suggestions still show up for the word. Why?

Modified on Mon, 25 Aug at 2:54 PM

In its current version, the Personal Dictionary only blocks suggestions under these 4 categories: Capitalization, Spelling, Hyphenation, Conventions. This is because indiscriminately blocking a word, regardless of context, risks producing ungrammatical text. Paperpal prioritizes grammatical correctness and ensures there is no inadvertent suppression of crucial grammatical and language suggestions.

Consider, for example, a case where the word thrombus is added to the dictionary. The model will still suggest changing it to thrombi for grammatical correctness.
