How does “Search” under "Research" work?

Modified on Fri, 12 Apr at 3:58 PM

The Research feature has 2 components: Search and Citation Library.

Search gives meaningful AI-generated answers to your research-related queries and backs these with real references from the published literature.

  1. Enter your question in plain English in the search bar, and the AI engine will begin searching for the best answers from over 250 million research articles across all disciplines.
  2. The AI analyzes and expands your question into semantic key phrases, and then searches these phrases in our extensive academic database to identify the top 100 most relevant papers.
  3. These papers are ranked based on their relevance to your query, and the AI generates a concise, fact-based response summarizing the insights from the top 10 articles.
  4. The response includes a list of references, allowing you to explore the research articles that informed your answer, ensuring transparency and depth.
